摘要 PURPOSE:To enable to keep the air-fuel ratio of a mixture supplied to respective cylinders at a predetermined value by a method wherein a suction air volume supplied to respective cylinder groups, which are divided into two groups, is calculated while a suction air stop valve is effecting the opening and closing operations thereof. CONSTITUTION:A pressure difference DELTAP is calculated from the output signals of vacuum sensers 67, 68 arranged at the upstream and down-stream sides of the suction air stop valve 26 while the suction air volume supplied to a first cylinder group A is calculated from a relation of the pressure difference DELTAP memorized in an electronic control unit 18, the revolving number N of the engine and the suction air volume, based on this pressure difference DELTAP and the revolving number N of the engine. Further, the suction air volume supplied to the first cylinder group A is subtracted from the total suction air volume obtained by the output signal of an air flow meter 25 arranged in a suction air duct 23 and whereby the suction air volume supplied to a second cylinder group B is calculated. A predetermined amount of fuel with respect to those measured air volumes is injected at nozzles 17b.
