The disclosed process is intended to the fabrication, by drawing of metal plate, of toothed crown pulleys (<u>P</u>, <u>P'</u>) and comprises the following operations. In the first place, an initial disc (1) having a circular contour is used which comprises meanswhich, once the pulley (<u>P</u>, <u>P'</u>) has been formed, provide for its coupling to a transmission shaft; subsequently, the initial disc (1) is transformed by drawing into a revolution preform (2) wherein two coaxial portions are distinguished, the coupling portion (4) and the main cylindrical portion (5) having a planar wall; then, by means of a forming device (<u>C</u>) comprised of a dye (12) and a punch (13) coaxially arranged between each other and with respect to the preform (2), a toothing (<u>d</u>) is formed by drawing in the side wall of said main portion (5) by axial sliding of the punch (13).
