PURPOSE:To prevent the coloration of a heat-sensitive recording material during the pressing period, by adding a specific metal stearate, a specific diester, and a specific amide compound to a heat-sensitive color developing layer containing a leuco dye and an acid substance as the main components. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive color developing layer containing a leuco dye and an acid substance as the main component in a recording material is mixed with an alkaline earth metal stearate, a diester compound of formulaI(wherein R<1> and R<2> are each a 10-30C alkyl group), and an amide compound of formula II (werein n is 1-30) or III (wherein n is 1-30). The metal stearate mainly serves to improve the head matching property, and the addition of a 1-10:1- 10:1-10 proportion of the metal stearate, diester compound, and amide compound remarkably raises the pressure coloration-preventing effect. |
