PURPOSE:To adjust the set value of resonance frequency and frequency temperature characteristics of a major oscillation to set values respectively, by providing a resonance frequency adjusting electrode and a frequency temperature characteristic electrode of the major oscillation on a tuning fork arm. CONSTITUTION:On a tuning fork arm, a resonance frequency adjusting electrode 9 of V-shape for the major oscillation and a frequency temperature electrode 10 for the major oscillation are provided. First, the electrode 10 is adjusted by using laser beam and the frequency temperature characteristics are set to a set value. Next, the electrode 9 is adjusted to conform the resonance frequency with the set value. In this case, the resonance frequency can be adjusted by keeping the frequency temperature characteristics adjusted before. Thus, the resonance frequency and frequency temperature characteristics of the major oscillation can be adjusted to the set value. |
