PURPOSE:To prevent any phosphor from separating from a shadow mask due to the adherence of dust or the like to the shadow mask, and increase the quality of a fluorescent screen by carrying out air blowings. CONSTITUTION:When a glass panel 21, to which a shadow mask 25 is attached and which is to be exposed, is set on an exposure bed, a limit switch 46 is set to ON, and exposure is initiated by opening a shutter 29. At the same time, a first air nozzle 40, while being reciprocated at about 110 degrees by means of driving motors 44, sprays high-pressure air 49 introduced through a filter 48 by opening a solenoid valve 47 on a shadow mask 25. Following that, air blowings with the same procedure as above of a second, a third and a fourth air nozzle 41, 42 and 43 are controlled to be carried out, in that order, repeatedly by means of a control circuit 45. |
