PURPOSE:To improve heat transfer efficiency and prevent dust clogging by providing the supporting fittings supporting bent parts of many watertube groups provided for the purpose of making effective use of the heat retained by gas along the gas flow. CONSTITUTION:The waste gas out from a converter 1 is cooled by a cooler 3 and a contact heat transfer part 3a disposed with many water tube 9 groups intersecting orthogonally with the gas flow in a gas conducting passage. The gas in the crooked bent parts of the water tube 9 groups flows along the water tube 9 groups and the supporting fittings 14 supporting these, and does not cause any turbulent flow. Hence, there is no stagnation of the gas and deposition of dust is less. |
