<p>A conveyor of the belt-type in which an endless band of rubber or like yieldable material is displaced along a closed path while being supported along opposite longitudinal edges of the belt. According to the invention, these edges are formed with support ribs having exclusively planar support surfaces in their orientations in which they are supportingly engaged by the rollers and the rollers which support these ribs are cylindrical. The ribs may be attached to the edges of the belt or formed unitarily therewith.</p> |
