The pick-up transfer apparatus is designed to eliminate back lash of the engagement between a feeding gear and a feeding rack. The apparatus comprises the feeding rack(18) geared with a feeding gear(24), a bracket(20) separated from the feeding rack, an elastic member(32) having elasticity in the direction perpendicular to the feeding direction of pick-up device(14), a supporting pin(34) which always contacts with the elastic member(32), and a deviation preventing pin(36) protruded on the rear side of the feeding rack(18) to prevent separation from the bracket(20).
