PURPOSE:To enable miniaturizing of device and to improve productivity, by a method wherein a power source for gas detecting element is obtained from a resistance for power source division, and the resistance is formed through application of thick film technic, thin film technic or other technics. CONSTITUTION:A gas detecting element 4 consists of a heater 3 and a gas-responsive part 5. An input commercial power source 1 is divided into a power source for the heater 3 and a power source 6 for the gas-responsive part 5 by means of a resitstance 2 for power source dividion. The power source 6 produces a DC voltage by means of a rectifier 7, and is supplied to the gas-responsive part 5 through a resistance 8. Said element 4 and the resistance 2 for power source division are mounted to a common insulating substrate, and the resistance 2 is formed by thick film or thin film technic. A power source for said element 4 is obtained through the resistance for power source division, and the use of one resistor, formed by thick film or thin film technic, enables miniaturization and lightening of a device compared with the use of conventional transformer. |
