PURPOSE:To reduce the fluctuation of voltage without increasing the high frequency components, by having a 6-phase constitution of star/star for the connection of the transformer of a device which is provided dispersedly to the transmission lines along with a 6-phase constitution of star/delta secured for other devices and accordingly forming a 12-phase constitution centering on the transmission line. CONSTITUTION:One of the two static reactive power compensators consists of a transformer 31 of a 6-phase constitution of the star/star connection, a neutral- point reactor 35, a thyristor switch 25 and a reactor 26. The other compensator consists of a transformer 32 of a 6-phase constitution of the star/delta connection which is installed at another spot centering on the line 1, a neutral-point reactor 36, thyristor switch 27 and a reactor 28. Then the difference of phase is produced by an amount equivalent to the impedance of the line 1. However, the impedance is extremely small for a transmission line of the super-super high voltage and can be negrected in comparison with the impedance of a transformer 6 of the power transmission terminal and the transformer of the power reception terminal which are connected to the line 1. As a result, a 12-phase constitution is obtained when viewed from the outside of the line 1. Thus the higher harmonic component is suppressed. |
