PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent erase rate and to reduce heat without reducing the reproduced output at short wave region, by forming a high saturation magnetic flux density magnetic material to an opposing end surface of a core member facing a magnetic gap with a thin film deposition method. CONSTITUTION:To an end facing a gap of a side core 101, a high saturation magnetic flux density magnetic material 104 of 80% permalloy is formed with the thin film deposition method. The thin film deposition method is a general term such as resistance heating evaporation, electron beam evaporation, sputtering, ion plating, plating and DVD, and taking a notice on the wear-resistance, the sputtering, ion plating and plating can be suitable. In using the plating, the hardness of the film 104 is around 500 in Vickers hardness and the wear-resistance which is much greater than the permaolloy foil can be obtained. Since no air gap exists between the plated film 104 and the end of the side core 101, the heat dissiplation generated from the film can be improved. |
