The unit 1 for generating a carry digit contains a first MOSFET transistor 2, a second MOSFET transistor 3, a third MOSFET transistor 11, a first inverter 4, a second inverter 14 and a NOR circuit 13. The input of the first inverter 4 is connected to an input 5 for a first preliminary function. The output of the first inverter 4 and the collector in the first MOSFET transistor 2 is connected to a carry digit output 6. The control in the first MOSFET transistor 2 and the input for the second inverter 14 is connected to an input 7 for a second preliminary function. The emitters in the first and the second MOSFET transistor 2, 3 and a first input for the NOR circuit 13 are connected to a carry digit input 8 of the carry digit generating unit 1. A collector 9 in the second MOSFET transistor 3 is connected to a power supply line while the pulse input for the first inverter 4 and the control in the second MOSFET transistor 3 are connected to a clock signal line 10. An emitter 12 in the third MOSFET transistor 11 is connected to a common bus and its collector is connected to the collector in the first MOSFET transistor 2. A second input of the NOR circuit 13 is connected to an output 16 of the inverter 14 while an output 15 is connected to the control in the third MOSFET transistor 11.
