PURPOSE:To neglect a header part and to read only a data part, by recognizing a compulsive data reading command issued from a main body. CONSTITUTION:In data reading made from a disc device, a sector value set in a sector register 2 and a sector value counted at a sector counter 1 are compared at a comparator 3. When coincident, data is fetched from a mechanism section with a control logic 4. Error check is made for the fetched data at a cyclic check CR circuit 5. In normal reading, no FF6 is set and the condition of a gate 7 is established. When an error is detected at the circuit 5, an error signal is given to a main body and informed to the logic 4 to inhibit the reading of data. When a compulsive data reading command is given from the main body, the FF6 is set, and the gate 7 is closed even if an error signal is outputted from the circuit 5, and the logic 4 controls to read the data, allowing to read the data only through the neglection of a header. |
