PURPOSE: To certainly prevent leakage of a hydraulic fluid from a wheel brake or hydraulic pressure generating means to the actuator side by furnishing an opening/closing valve, which opens when the output hydraulic pressure of actuator rises over a specific level, between the output port of the actuator and a selector valve means. CONSTITUTION: In the normal braking condition in which a master cylinder M is connected to a left and a right front wheel brake BFL, BFR through solenoid-operated selector valves VFL, VFR, actuators AFL, AFR mating with the two front wheel brakes BFL, BFR are out of operation. Accordingly the output ports 24 of these actuators are in communication with a reservoir R, and opening/closing valves 30FL, 30FR will be closed in association with the condition that the output liquid pressures of the actuators AFL, AFR lie below the specified level. Therefore, there is no risk of leaking of the hydraulic fluid from the wheel brakes BFL, BFR or master cylinder M to the actuators AFL, AFR side even if any solenoid-operation selector valve VFL, VFR has a poor workmanship in the seal. |
