PURPOSE:To pick up an arbitrary 4-bits data in one processing step, by selecting an arbitrary m-byte data from a plurality of types of m-byte data, selecting an arbitrary 1/2-byte data and storing it in a register. CONSTITUTION:Out of 2-byte raw data A-D, one type of data, e.g. a 2-byte raw data stored in a register 14 is made through or byte-cross-shifted in accordance with a data location to be picked up with a selector 11. Out of the 2-byte data outputted with the selector 11, a lower side 1 byte data (bit 8-15) is inputted to a selector 12, and an upper side 1/2-byte (bit 8-11) of the input data or a 4-bits data of a lower side 1/2-byte (bit 12-15) is selected with the selector 12 in accordance with the location of data to be picked up and stored in a flag register 13. Thus, an arbitrary 4-bits data can quickly be picked up with one processing step. |
