ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE SHIELDING WINDOW

PURPOSE: To provide an economic electromagnetic wave shielding window using jointly solar power generation and electromagnetic wave shielding. CONSTITUTION: A conductive window frame 8 is fitted to the circumferential edge of a plate glass 1 embedding a transmissive electrode-membrane-attached transmissive solar-cell-membrane body 2. A conductive membrane 3 is embedded in a position in the plate glass 1 opposed to the electrode membrane through a space to be connected in a high-frequency state but insulated in a direct- current state, and one end of the conductive membrane 3 is led to the peripheral surface of the plate glass 1. A conductive cushion material 5 is packed between the window frame 8 and peripheral surface of the plate glass 1 to connect the conductive membrane 3 electrically to the window frame 8. If desirable, the transmissive solar-cell membrane body 2 is formed of an amorphous silicon membrane, and preferably of a perforated amorphous silicon.
