PURPOSE:To prevent powder from scattering around by providing a means for intermittently repeating a slight up-and-down motion of a vessel for measuring the bulk or tap density of the powder. CONSTITUTION:A vessel holder 4 is guided by a guide 15 when it is moved up and down, and a supporting stand 16 and a shaft 17 are moved up and down together with the vessel holder 4. The rotation of a motor 20 is transmitted to the shaft 17 through the intermediary of gears 18 and 19, the shaft 17 is moved up and down by a cam 21, and thereby a vessel 3 is tapped. A bottom plate 23, which is inclined, leads collected powder to a collecting port 6, and a leveling plate 5 is moved forward and backward by a cylinder 24. The leveling plate 5 can be rotated freely round a cylinder shaft 24-1, while the bottom plate 23 is vibrated by a vibrator 25 to send out the powder to the collecting port 6. |
