PURPOSE: To obtain an optical disk device capable of generating an address signal stably without being affected by the displacement of an objective lens and the fluctuation of the reflectivity of the optical disk. CONSTITUTION: Bi-sected light receiving parts 16a, 16b of a photodetector 16 receive reflected light beams from an optical disk 1. A first intermediate address signal S20 is generated from the difference signal between outputs of the light receiving parts 16a, 16b. A second intermediate address signal S21 is generated from the sum signal between outputs from the light receiving parts 16a, 16b. An address generating circuit 26 generates an address signal S26 by using the first intermediate address signal S20 and the second address signal S21. |
