PURPOSE: To operate an elevator as far as an auxiliary cage calling device is normal even if a main cage calling device fails, and concurrently let the auxiliary cage calling device capable of being available in response to the failure condition of the main cage calling device be indicated to passengers. CONSTITUTION: A calling input device 3 selectively designates a destination floor of an elevator or the destination direction based on information from respective calling devices such as a main general cage calling device 8, an auxiliary general cage calling device 9, a main folding push chair calling device 2, an auxiliary folding push chair calling device 4, a general landing calling device 6 provided for landings and a folding push chair landing calling device 7, and concurrently inputs information on failures of the respective calling devices. A separation device 5 separates failed calling devices from the calling input device 3 based on information on failures from the calling input device 3. Therefore, the use of any failed calling device is prohibited, and the proper use of the calling device can thereby be secured. |
