PURPOSE: To easily confirm the contents of a processed picture information list by outputting picture information of the contents inserted in a reception list and a result list with these lists when the lists can not be transmitted to a calling source. CONSTITUTION: At the time of dialing a line connected with the communication controller a1 of a facsimile mail equipment 14a to connect the line, picture information given a secondary address is transmitted from a facsimile equipment 11a to the mail equipment 14a. The mail equipment 14a analyzes the contents of the secondary address by means of CPU a2 and prepares managing information for distribution. When the facsimile equipment of the calling source is not connected, redialing is repeated prescribed times and when the calling source is connected by the redialing, the lists are transmitted. When redialing is repeated prescribed times, dialing is switched to the line of a specified terminal. When the specified terminal is connected, the reception list is transmitted. |
