A hydraulic brake booster includes a housing (24) with a bore (26) for receiving a first piston (34), a second piston (38) and a valve assembly (32). The valve assembly includes a sleeve (60) with a bore (92, 110) receiving a first valve member (98) and a second valve member (112).
