PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance essentially maintaining excellent magnetic characteristic, by evaporating Co magnetic metal containing a small quantity of P to obtain a thin film. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic metal and the other metal constituted of Cr and Co are used as the materials for evaporating source havig evaporated on the tape substrate to form a magnetic thin film. This magnetic evaporated film has composition of 0.02-1.5% of P, 3.0-11.0% of O and Co remain being formed by heating the metallic material with composition of 0.02-1.5wt% of P and Co remain in a pressure reduction chamber for transpiration to evaporate on the tape substrate. |
