PURPOSE:To generate a triangular wave with constant amplitude by alternately integrating a positive and a negative voltage proportional to the frequency of an input signal by the frequency-devided signal of the input signal. CONSTITUTION:A frequency-voltage converting circuit 1 generates and sends a voltage proportional to the frequency of an input signal to an integrating circuit 5 through a resistance 6, a switch circuit 4, and a series resistance 8. A reverse voltage generating circuit 2 generates and sends a voltage, which has the opposite polarity to and the same absolute value with the output voltage of the circuit 1, to the integrating circuit 5 through a variable resistance 7, the switch circuit 4 and the series resistance 8. A frequency dividing circuit 3 divides the frequency of the input signal to output a frequency-divided signal A, thereby driving the switch circuit 4. The integrating circuit 5 inputs the output voltaes of the circuits 1 and 2 alternately and outputs a triangular wave with constant amplitude without reference to the frequency of the input signal. The output B of the frequency dividing circuit discharges the capacitor 10 of the integrating circuit 5 to prevent variation in the zero point of the triangular wave signal. |
