PURPOSE:To make the device small in size, by cooling a thermal fixing device with a cooler for exposure system cooling, through the transfer of heat of the thermal fixing device with a heat transfer means to an air duct provided with a cooler exhausting the heat generated from the exposure system externally. CONSTITUTION:The heat dissipated from an exposure lamp 11 and a heat fixing device 13 is cooled with a cooling fan 12. A through-hole 31 is formed between the exposure lamp 11 and the cooling fan 12 to a partition 10 constituting an air duct 16. This through-hole 31 and the vicinity of the thermal fixing device 13 are linked via a linking duct 32. The duct 32 is formed with a guide plate 33 and a heat transfer means 36 is constituted with the hole 31 and the duct 32. The heat generated from the lamp 11 is cooled with an air flow toward the arrow with the rotation of the cooling fan 12 and the heat generated from the device 13 is exhausted from the duct 16 via the duct 32 and the hole 31 as shown in the arrow. |
