PURPOSE:To inform the replacing period of an ink donor film and to complete the recording of one page at least on the way of recording. CONSTITUTION:An end mark 14A provided to the ink doner film wound in a roll form in the vicinity of the terminal thereof so as to provide at least a recordable region longer than the length of one page of recording paper is detected to perform the alarm display of the replacing period of the ink donor film. After a predetermined time is elapsed from the point of time when the end mark 14A is detected, the recording operation to the recording paper is stopped. |
