PURPOSE:To obtain a densely packaged light-coupled element having cross-talk- free common leads by bringing two connection blocks into contact with the common leads when upper and lower forms are joined and forming a plurality of cavities each containing a light emitting element and a light receiving element. CONSTITUTION:Light emitting elements 13 are tie-bonded to light-emission-side lead frames 12, wire-bonded with bonding wires 20, and treated with JCR. Light receiving elements 15 are tie-bonded to light-reception-side lead frames 14 and wire-bonded with bonding wires 20. The assembled light-emission-side lead frames 12 and light-reception-side lead frames 14 are spot-welded or arranged on a loading frame so that the light emitting elements 13 and the light receiving elements 15 may face with each other and primary molds 17a are formed with a metal mold to optically couple the elements. Resin burrs 27 are removed and the primary molds 17a are secondarily molded with light shielding resin 18. |
