<p>PURPOSE:To safely constructing a digesting tank with high treating capacity by mutually spanning upper end parts of plural sludge digesting tanks made of reinforced concrete having an oval shape or a shape similar thereto with a stress transmitting rigid member. CONSTITUTION:A footing 2 is integrally provided to the lower side part of a sludge digesting tank 1 made of reinforced concrete having a shape similar to an oval shape along the peripheral direction thereof and placed on the ground as well as the tank wall part below the footing 2 is let fall into the ground hole to be supported on the hole bottom surface. Two digesting tanks 1 are constructed at appropriate intervals and upper ends thereof are mutually spanned with a stress transmitting rigid member 5. This rigid member 5 is also made of reinforced concrete and a passageway 6 of a worker is provided thereto. The rigid member 5 may be one transmitting tensile stress and compression stress together from one digesting tank 1 to the other digesting tank 1.</p> |
