PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of automation for collation of a seal impression, by the discrimination of coincidence/dissidence taking details of a pattern into consideration. CONSTITUTION:The collation of seal impression can be performed by the constitution of a storage circuit storing a dual collation pattern from a picture input device, a center detecting circuit 2 obtaining the pattern center stored in the circuit 1, an original file 4 storing the standard patterns, a one line pickup circuit passing through the center corresponding to both collated pattern and standard pattern, a one line discriminating circuit 5 comparing and discriminating both the one line patterns, and an overall discriminating circuit 6 discriminating the result of one line judgement and the overall judgement. |
