The invention refers to a gear mechanism for lorries with tilting cabs. The gear-lever (1) is movably stored in a lever stand under the floor of the cab or motor casing (9) and extends itself into the cab through an opening (8) in the floor or casing. The gear mechanism consists of two parts (2, 3) connected via a lead (4) in the area of the opening, that can be fixed in relation to each other by means of a lock mechanism (19, 20), which may be released in order to allow folding of the upper part of the mechanism when tipping the cab.<IMAGE> |
