<p>PURPOSE:To carry out sewage treatment in good efficiency by mounting a treating tank having a horizontal endless recirculating flow passage, a filler material for adhering microorganism film and a horizontal shaft rotary type surface aerator. CONSTITUTION:When a horizontal shaft rotary type aerator 3 is driven to one direction, sewage receives air supply by the aerator to be horizontally flowed and recirculated throughout a flow passage while air is dissolved therein and is contacted with a filler material 4 to supply oxygen to microorganism film formed on the surface thereof and org. components in sewage are treated by the microorganism film. water having received the treatment of org. components is successively discharged from a discharge pipe 6. In the aforementioned method, a large scale blower is not used and, therefore, desired power is made low and a running cost is inexpensive. In addition, it is possible to carry out aeration by immersing the filling material 4 in an oxygen rich tank.</p> |
