Rolled product display packing - has panels with recesses for roll tube and to allow stacking

The display packing is for products in roll form such as wallpaper or carpets. It has two parallel and roughly square side panels (2,3) joined together by parallel struts (4-7). Formed in the inside faces of the panels are recesses (12,13) leading to one side and with semicircular bottoms, accommodating the ends of a tube on which the product is rolled. The top and bottom panel edges have complementary protrusions (19,22,23,26) and recesses (20,21,24,25), allowing an identical packing (1) to be stacked one on top of the other with their recesses facing in the same or the opposite directions. The front and rear edges of the panels have further complementary protrusions (27,30,32,33,36,37,39,42) and recesses (28,29,31, 34,35,38,40,41), by which they can be fitted against other packings at the same level.
