摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the direct-coupled clutch type slip control device, which can prevent running feeling from being degraded because of repeated operations of an engagement of a direct-coupled clutch, and slip control and release in an up-hill running and an increase in engine revolution speed not intended by a driver. SOLUTION: When a running road is detected by an up-hill road detection means 190 that it is an up-hill road, it is prohibited by a slip control prohibition means 192 that a lock-up clutch 24 is shifted to a slip condition from a release condition. By this constitution, when the lock-up clutch 24 is released once during running over an up-hill road, the release condition is to be kept on afterward. For this reason, since the clutch 24 will never be shifted during running over an up-hill road, running feeling is appropriately prevented from being degraded because of repetition of slip control and release by the lock-up clutch 24.
