Gasifier-type oil burner

A gasifier-type oil burner (blue burner), with an outer combustion pipe and with a gasification pipe arranged concentrically therein, is closed on the inlet side by means of a diaphragm, through the central orifice of which fuel is sprayed and combustion air is fed under pressure. A plurality of (additional) air-passage bores are arranged in this diaphragm concentrically relative to the diaphragm orifice, specifically preferably in a manner distributed uniformly over a part circle, the diameter of which is somewhat smaller than the diameter of the gasification pipe.
