A circuit, which exhibits a number of monitoring circuits with fault detection circuits, in which fault detector circuits (21, 22, 23 ...) connected to a common direct-current line (1) and fault locating circuits (31, 32, 33 ...) connected to the fault detector circuits form temperature-, pressure- etc. monitoring and signalling circuits (41, 42, 43 ...) which in each case exhibit first and second output terminals (51, 5'1; 52, 5'2; 5,3, 5'3) and locking signal terminals (61, 62, 63 ...) which, in turn, are combined in such a manner that an interlocking circuit is produced via an interlocking line (5'). <IMAGE>
