PURPOSE:To obtain the information at which stage a failure is decided in case of failure, by stepwise setting a setting range of each register through the provision of a plurality of comparison registers. CONSTITUTION:The failure diagnosis for an analog/digital converting operation, by fetching a reference voltage of a reference voltage generator 1 and comparing the value with a value of a preset comparison register 6. In this case, a plurality of registers 6 and comparators 7 are provided. Thus, a level discrimination for a failure can be made by setting stepwise a compared value to each register 6. |
