The subject-matter of the invention is a brush for blow-drying the hair, having a handle part for handling and a brush part. The object of the invention is to simplify the handling of the brush considerably. The invention is characterised in that the brush is driven in rotation. The present technical teaching breaks new ground in that it is proposed that the hot-air brush is now mounted so that it is, itself, rotatable and drivable in the housing of the hair-drying brush. According to the invention, a rotary bearing (6) is arranged in the front part (5) of the hair-drying brush (1), which rotary bearing receives a hollow shaft (8) in a rotary manner.
