PURPOSE:To provide flat high sensitivity to a receptor over the whole visible range and the wavelength range of a semiconductor laser and to enhance the endurance by adding a specified trisazo pigment to the charge generating layer and a specified diarylmethane compound to the charge transferring layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge generating layer contg. a triphenylamine type trisazo pigment represented by formulaIis formed on an electrically conductive support. A charge transferring layer contg. a diarylmethane compound represented by formula II[where R1 is 1-11C alkyl, (substituted)phenyl or heterocyclic, each of R2 and R3 is H, 1-4C alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, chloroalkyl or (substituted)aralkyl, R2 and R3 may bond to each other to form a heterocyclic ring contg. N, and each of R4 and R5 is H, 1-4C alkyl, alkoxy or halogen]is then formed on the charge generating layer. Thus, a receptor having high sensitivity over the visible range and the wavelength range of a semiconductor laser and superior endurance is obtd. |
