The invention relates to a cultivating implement for loosening the soil without substantial alteration of the surface of the soil. The implement includes a frame 10, 11 and at least one tool 25 for working (ploughing, tilling) the earth, mounted on the frame. The tool includes a blade 35 which extends downwards into the soil in a plane parallel to the direction of edge displacement through the soil. The blade is inclined, forming an acute angle with the vertical in order to lift the soil located above the blade. At the lower end of the blade there is a foot 50 which has an inclined upper surface 52 at its front end and a vertical lateral surface 55 parallel to the direction of displacement in order to withstand the lateral forces generated on the tool owing to the action of the inclined blade on the soil. |
