PURPOSE:To reduce the error recovery time, by receiving and monitoring that transmitted data of a transmission station is relayed and transmitted at a relay station from the transmission station and retransmitting the data voluntarily through the request of a reception station if the transmission of data is required in the same procedures as those made of the request of the reception station. CONSTITUTION:A station 1 monitors a frame transmitted from the station for the relay broadcast at a satellite, detects missing of a frame I2.0 at time t3, and retransmits the frame in the same procedure as that of rejection RJ.2 from a station 2 voluntarily and the result reaches the station 2 at a time t4. The transmission of the REJ.2 of the station 2 at time t0, the retransmission of the REJ of the station 1 at time t1, and arrival to the station 2 at time t2 are the same as conventional systems. Thus, the error recovery time T is one round trip between t0 and t4, and since the number of frames N to be thrown away is the number of frames reaching the station 2 between the t0-t4 and the t4-t2, no frame can be increased. Thus, the error time can remarkably be reduced in common use of the retransmission control at the transmission station and the transmission efficiency can be increased. |
