PROCESS AND ARRANGEMENT FOR EXECUTING PROTOCOLS BETWEEN TELECOMMUNICATIONS DEVICES IN WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS

In a wireless telecommunications system, e.g. a DECT/GAP system, control mechanisms (i.e. messages, information elements and procedures) of a standard protocol are activated under the overall control of a first telecommunications device in the system in order to execute a special protocol; the control mechanisms serve for the exchange of additional information between the first telecommunications device and a second telecommunications device in the system.
