The condensate-collecting container (1) serves, in a laundry dryer with an air-cooled condensation device, for storing the condensation liquid extracted from the damp laundry. After the drying operation, the collecting container has to be removed from the dryer and emptied each time. So that, if possible, no water can escape from the collecting container (1) during this removal operation, the collecting container (1) has structures acting as a safeguard against spilling over. A pouring-out aid for emptying the collecting container (1) is advantageously obtained at the same time. <IMAGE>
