PURPOSE:To provide a V-belt which can have high strength, low elasticity, high coefficient of elasticity, fatigue resistance, chemical resistance, thermal stability and dimensional stability by forming a fiber reinforced core of the V-belt of all aromatic polyether amide fiber. CONSTITUTION:A fiber reinforced core of a V-belt is formed of aromatic polyether amide fiber consisting of repeated units of formulas 1-4: wherein Ar1- Ar3 is aromatic carboxylic residual group or aromatic heterocyclic residual group; R1-R5 is alkyl group with less than C5 and H; and Ar4, Ar5 is paraphenylene group, methaphenylene group. |
