PURPOSE:To effectively collect the captioned gas wastefully thrown away conventionally, by heat exchanging the dry distilled coke oven gas with a medium, evaporating the medium, rotating a turbine with medium vapor and driving a generator or the like through said turbine. CONSTITUTION:Distilled gas, led from a coke oven 1 at low temperature to a FARUMEN2, flows through an evaporator 3 and preheater 4, and is heat exchanged with a medium and cooled, and then heat exchanged with cooling water in a cooling tower 5 further cooled finally guided to equipments in use. On the other hand, in a closed circulation circuit 14, said medium, fed to the preheater 4 by a pump 11, is heat exchanged with said gas in the evaporator 3, evaporated and then introduced to a turbine through a pipe line 8, equipped with a pressure control valve 15, to rotate the turbine and drive a generator 6. Then the medium, led out from the turbine 7, is heat exchanged with cooling water in a condenser 9, cooled, liquefied and fed again to the preheater 4 by the pump 11. |
