PURPOSE:To make it possible to install the body of the titled hot air generator at a position suitable for the layout of a workshop or the like irrespective of the position at which a blower is installed, by a method wherein the body of the hot air generator incorporating a heat exchanger and a heat source therein is separated from the blower. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchanger 2 is incorporated into a square box 1 and an air intake port 6 connected to the blower (not shown), a hot air blowoff port 7 and a combustion gas exhaust port 9 are provided in three surfaces of the box 1, respectively, and the heat source 10 is also inserted into the box 1 through the remaining surface of the box. Further, each of the surfaces of the box 1 excepting the surface through which the heat source is inserted is provided with a fixing section so that the box 1 is fixed to the floor, the ceiling or the like of the workshop through the fixing section according to the layout of the workshop and the direction of a pipe 10a leading to the heat source 10 is determined. Next, the exhaust port 9, the hot air blowoff port 7 and the air intake port 6 are connected to an exhaust cylinder 14, a duct 15 and a duct 16 extending from the blower, respectively. Consequently, it becomes possible to install the body of the hot air generator at a suitable position without being restricted by the position of installation of the blower. |
