<p>Method of lining a passageway (2), characterised in that a - a cylindrical tube (1) is made of a thermoplastic material with an elastic memory that can be activated above ambient temperature, having an external diameter at least equal to the internal diameter of the passageway to be lined; b - the tube (1) thus obtained is laterally deformed at a temperature at least equal to the memory activation temperature, so as to reduce the apparent section of the tube and bring the greatest dimension of this section to a value less than the internal diameter of the passageway to be lined, and it is set in this deformed state by cooling; c - the tube (1) thus deformed is pushed into the passageway to be lined; and d - the deformed tube (1) is heated to a temperature at least equal to the memory activation temperature, so that it resumes its initial cylindrical shape and presses against the walls of the passageway (2). <IMAGE></p> |
