A cap-shape reagent container for analysis reagents, which makes a water quality analysis simple. A technical issue of the invention is to provide a cap-shape reagent container for analysis reagents, which enables a water quality analysis safely and precisely in a simple operation even in the absence of a chemical knowledge. A solution to a first technical issue of the invention is to provide a transparent container body enabling injection of a predetermined amount of test water from an opening thereof, a cap body capable of being mounted by tightening from a side of the opening of the container body, a reagent storage container loaded into the cap body for storing a predetermined reagent, and a cutter adapted to be pushed into the interior of the cap body depending upon an amount, with which the cap body is tightened onto the container body, to break through the reagent storage container loaded into the cap body to allow the reagent to be discharged into the container body, as described in claim 1. With the solution, when the cap body holding the reagent storage container, in which a predetermined reagent is received, is mounted from the opening of the container body in a tightening manner after a predetermined amount of the test water is injected into the transparent container body, the cutter is moved in accordance with an amount of tightening, so that the reagent storage container is broken through to allow the reagent in the reagent storage container to be discharged into the container body. Accordingly, in the event of carrying out an analysis of the test water, tightening of the cap body onto the container body, into which the test water has been injected, enables mixing the reagent with the test water, so that a water quality analysis can be performed safely and precisely in a simple operation even in the absence of a chemical knowledge.
