PURPOSE:To transfer the signals of two master tapes alternately and almost successively by bringing those two master tapes into press contact with a slave tape longer than the master tapes alternately, and rewinding one tape while the other is in process of transfer. CONSTITUTION:A slave tape 2 unwound from a reel 1, where a tape is wound in quantities, is wound around a reel 3 after passing a transfer drum 4. Master tapes are wound around reversible reels 7 and 8, and 10 and 11; one tape and the slave tape are brought into press contact with a transfer drum 4 by the sensing of top sensors 19a and 19b to perform transferring operation by transfer bias heads 15a and 15b, and before the transferring operation is finished by end sensors 18a and 18b, the other is rewound. Consequently, the slave tape is unwound almost successively and the signals of the master tapes are transferred alternately to achieve successive operation. |
