摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the cleaning efficiency of the catalyst by providing a oxygen sensor at the upper stream of the engine to detect the air-fuel ratio of the mixed gas thereby shortening the vibration period of the air-fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION:The fuel corresponding to the air flow from an injector 4 is atomitized when the air applied with the flow control by the second throttle valve 18 will flow through the Venturi 16 then collides against the gasification face 15 heated by the exhaust gas to be gasified instantly to produce the mixed gas. Consequently the idle time for reaching to the engine 3 is reduced while since the mixing of the fuel and the air is performed in the vapor phase the mixing distance is shortened thereby the air-fuel ratio of the mixed gas can be detected at the intake manifold 2 side. An oxygene sensor 8 is arranged at the bypath 19 of the manifold 2 then it is heated by the exhaust gas from the conduit 20 and activated. Consequently the idle detection time or the vibration period of the air-fuel ratio can be shortened considerably resulting in the improvement of the cleaning efficiency.
