PURPOSE:To obtain the titled suspension for a heat-sensitive recording paper free from staining of texture, by pulverizing a specified fluoran compound in an aqueous medium containing a water-soluble binder. CONSTITUTION:The objective aqueous suspension is obtained by pulverizing 3- (N-methylcyclohexylamino)-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran as a color former in an aqueous medium containing a water-soluble binder (e.g., PVA) at a temperature of 40-100 deg.C. After cooling the aqueous suspension thus obtained, it is mixed with a prepared suspension of a phenolic color developer to obtain a coating liquid for the heat-sensitive recording paper. |
