Floating crane with folding jib - has pulleys on supporting gantry for tie rope between hoist blocks

The hoist, partic. a floating crane, has a jib with a number of hoist blocks alongside each other suspended from the head, together with a supporting gantry to provide the necessary backward stability for the jib. To allow lowering of the latter into the folded position this gantry can be attached to two or more blocks by a tie rope. One or more pullets (13,14) are mounted at the head of the gantry (3), round which the tie rope (15) can be reeved from one hoist block (4a) to the other (4b). There can be two such pulleys, spaced apart in the horizontal direction.
